you know they are going to blow fla. all night long just like they have done all yr. Packer is as bad as dickie v. when it comes to building up players. that ugly, no talent fuck noah will score a layup and packer will make it seem like he is the only 7 footer who can make a basket.

Individually they are horrible.

Together they are truly an example of the sum is greater than the parts - in suckability.

If Nantz is a 10 on the suck scale, and Packer is a 10 on the suck scale, when you put them together they are a 1,000.

Totally unwatchable.

His end of the game calls are the best. I've said it before in other threads, but his call in the Gonzaga/UCLA game of last year.

I still wish Gus Johnson was the announce for the DII Championship...where that guard scored 10 pts in 30 secs, and hit a lay up at the buzzer.

Gus Johnson would've literally died on the air.

Out of all the sports announcers out there Billy Packer has to be the most hated. You can go all over the intrnt and see him getting bashed but very seldom do you see anyone with a kind word for him. Other unpopular tv guys like Theisman, Musberger, Paul Maguire et. al at least have a few fan out there -- I don't think I've ever seen anyone support Packer with all the bashing threads I've seen at all forums or bb's. FWIW, I thought I was the original Packer-basher way back when...guess I was wrong!

I like Packer. I think he is knowledgeable and a hoops junkie. There is somebody who likes him. Sometimes he irritates me but overal I like him.
