yea but prodigy in all fairness you've questioned florida all season, and can tell you were never sold and doubted them big time...i enjoy your rightups and u have a great view on ur specialty conference, but i acually dont think they have had a chance to show how good they were...nobody really SERIOUSLY challenged them in the last 2 ncaa tourneys.

heres the thing.
what florida accomplished is VERY VERY impressive.
but i really dont even think they are the best team of the decade. this team isnt better than the carolina team from 2 years ago or the uconn team from 3 or 4 years ago.
so when you rank florida among the all-time greats, you are ranking what they've accomplished as opposed to the team itself.
i think it will be at least 10+ years before we see another b2b champ. and for good reason. florida accomplished a truly special feat. but i dont think they're an all time great team, per se.
No need for name calling prodigy..
sean, kil them?...seriously i can entertain thoughts that a few of those teams were better, but none of those teams blows out florida...bottom line....name me one other team that had talent such as noah, horford and richard down low....individually none will rank as great but as a group they do...thats what people dont get...they were a great "team".Just to name a few teams who would kill them:
UNC 2 years ago, Duke in 90 and 91 or 91 and 92, Duke a few years after that, the KY team with Mccartney, Walker, etc, several Kansas teasm, UNLV in 91, UNC in 94 and 95 or so (jameson, stackhouse) and again with Carter, Wallace or whatever the combos were, etc... Fab 5, etc, etc.
Good, but not great by any stretch. There was a day when elite NBA players played 3 years in college.
