Joe Blanton owned the Mariners last year and by the looks of how they hit against Haren, they aren't likely to suddenly figure him out anytime soon. Washburn went downhill last season but Oakland does not have a lineup that can put up a million runs and he's pitching in a pitchers' haven in Seattle. Both teams have good pens. Oakland should get more out of their starter and take this one.

Not sure if I'll do NL stuff tonight or in the AM. I won close to a grand all-in-all thanks to my bracket and I may just go out and get tanked. We'll see. I'm getting tanked either here at the house or elsewhere though. If I recommend betting on the "Thunder Cats" or some shit later tonight, it's because I've over-celebrated and need to be ignored. Florida/Washington Under 8.5 -110
Pitchers: Olsen/Hill
2-Unit Play

Washington showed in game 1 that they can't hit anyone right now. Without Nick Johnson and no longer having Alfonso Soriano has really taken a dent out of a below average to begin with offense. This is a major pitchers' park and Olsen should get whatever he wants out of these guys as they no longer have the power to hit lefties until Nick is healthy. The Marlins have a very nice offense but Hill pitched pretty dang well at home last season and the Marlins never really got going against lefties. Bullpens scare me here but there is alot of value in this line as I expect both pitchers to do very well.

LA Dodgers +118
Pitchers: Wolf/Capauno

I honestly can't believe I'm betting on Randy Wolf again but he had a good spring and the Brewers couldn't hit lefties last year and I doubt much has changed with their young club. Capauno is a very good pitcher but LAD schooled lefties like crazy last year. The Dodgers looked like crap in the first game but that was against a healthy Ben Sheets who is just as good as Johan when completely healthy, which almost never happens. This one is worth the vig and we'll get a good look to see what Mr. Wolf has in the tank.

Pitchers: Snell/Jennings

I love Jason Jennings and think he's going to be an excellent pitcher for the Astros but he just doesn't deserve to be this big of a favorite. Houston's bullpen (Lidge) has shown they can't finish a game and Snell going for Pittsburgh is a pretty darn good pitcher in his own rite. Houston will likely win but the value is on Pittsburgh.

Colorado Rockies -134
Pitchers: Francis/Livan
2-Unit Play

I really didn't expect to have two of my biggest plays on day three of the MLB season but I believe the value is definitely here with this one. Livan struggled in the spring and has been hammered by this Rockie team pretty much every time he's seen them the last few years. They dominate in Coors and they should put up some easy runs again today. Francis has pitched extremely well against the DBacks the last few years and he's used to having to deal with Coors. This line just doesn't seem right and should be pounded like a Taiwanese whore.

Looking like a losing day. Somehow Blanton only allowed 5 baserunners in 6 innings but four of those five baserunners scored and then the bullpen came in to screw us.

Likewise, Hill allows 6 baserunners in 5 innings but 5 of those 6 score.

Just not my day.
