can you break this down into simply terms. is this part of the port bill??


statement from citizens bank" starting may 1 2007 ,your statement will detail your atm and debit card transactions made outside of the united states as two separate items: the purchase or withdrawal amount and the foriegn currency fee amount.the foreign currency fee amount consists of a 1% foreign currency and any related network fees that may apply.

just what does this really affect?

Your bank is charging you a fee for taking money out when you are outside of the country. If you take the equivalent of $300 out, you will see a line item for $300 representing the case you received and a line item of $x as the fee you are charged.
