Dice K for the first half of the season. Once opposing batters start to learn this kid the Sox are boned!

I'd like to see a little bit of performance from DaisyDuke before he is rated so highly. He's getting paid like he has a guarantee included to win 18 games.

I'd say Papelbon. Dice-K seems like he has all the tools to be an ace but let's just see him pitch first. I can't wait to see him!

How can you guys say Dice K when you've only seen him pitch in Spring Training, if that.....

It has to be Papelbon right now, atleast until Dice K can prove something.

Cause I've seen him dominating in Japan for years and also against our boys in the WBC. Having 5 plus pitches just doesn't happen...

You guys are crazy. It isn't even close. Beckett is by FAR the best pitcher on this staff and the one all 32 GM's would take if given the chance.

Beckett's a great pitcher but I think over half, if not all, would take Daisuke if given the choice.

Jesus Christ you people. Trying to put Dice-K in the Hall already.

I'll bump this thread when he turns out to be average at best.

To answer your question it still is Schilling. He lives for big games. All these other Sox pitchers will be sweating their balls off and fucking up when they're in the Bronx in July with a sold out crowd.

That is all that matters.

Beckett absolutely sucked last year. GM's would take him over Dice K? That's funny.

Schilling is still going strong. Royals are his kryptonite but he should have a nice year.

And Dice-K is not some inexperienced guy either. Me and others have seen what he can do in Japan and the WBC. His stuff is electric as can be and I'll be happy to bump this when he starts dominating.
