I know it is Peavy smacking them down today but, the Giants may never score any runs this year. They will lose confidence fast too. Barry is a chump of his former self too. I do like Cain but that is not enough. Zito looked completely over rated and Lowry has some nice junk but no fastball. Visquel can't hit for power and may not hit for average either. Durham at cleanup??? Oh my god.
I feel a lot better about my Rockies and D-Backs OVER win totals for the season after seeing SF today. And get used to station to station, boring ass Bochy ball. Peavy looked AWESOME. Pads get underrated every yr in the pre-season. If the starting 5 holds up, name a better one in the NL.
i had padres which was nice but i also had a little on over 7.5, not a great example of giants offense yet because peavy pitched great and san diego's bullpen is top rate.. i think the san francisco front office will start to think that they paid too much for zito in a few months.. he creates more hype just because he's got such a nasty curve, he's obviously very good but not worth what they paid for him

Too early to tell about the bullpen. Bullpens are a crap shot for any pen not in the top 10.
They have a nice balanced lineup, with good starting pitching.

A reasonable question. What makes you think the guys that get paid plenty to make up the Odds for the Books dont see what you see. I never understand this fade thing when you dont know what the next price will be. Then when enough People are saying it, someone will post that all the squares are opposing The giants and the sharp bet is on them, its ridiculous. :drink:

Winbet. I disagree to the maximum. Lines makers take half a season to get it right. Why do you think the good teams from July on are like minus 200 every damn night no matter who's pitching. Please show me more. Many teams each year do worse than expected and this is one of them. When they are Dogs every night in August I won't bother saying I told you so.
That being said I like Cain and he will probably win 3-2 Wed.
