The A's lost their first game against Seattle last year too but then went 17-1 against them the rest of the season. If that isn't enough, for those who use pitching in making your plays, you will love Blanton's stats against Seattle.

Blanton was awesome last season against Seattle, winning all four of his starts, while pitching to a 1.55 ERA. For his career, he is 6-1 against the M's with a 2.50 ERA in eight starts.

Going against Washburn is an additional plus for the A's. He went 0-2 with a 6.86 ERA against the A''s last season.

Everything points to an A's win, but being the road team gets us a nice price. I just played them at -102 at sportsbook.com. BTW, sportsbook.com uses a ten cent line up to -150.

Just want to add I watched the game last night and I'll admit I under estimated Hernandez. He's the real deal.
