more importantly, and referring to the thread i began yesterday, why is he batting ahead of Blalock against a RHP?

I understand the L-R-L-R balance but this is just stupid. Blalock is a much better hitter than Sosa and he's stealing ABs. That's 3 at bats with runners in scoring position that Sosa has taken away from Blalock, in TWO games.

True that. SOB may have just cost me the over... (actually, maybe not -- as soon as I typed this, I checked the score to see that the halos just got 2 runs)

IMO, the L-R-L-R shit is vastly overrated.
