Here is a look at this game and although there is not as much value as the TOR-DET game, this is what I found:

FLORIDA

1. Hanley Ramirez .305 career versus lefties
2. Dan Uggla .312 career versus lefties
3. Miguel Cabrera .305 career versus lefties
4. Josh Willingham .310 career versus lefties
5. Mike Jacobs .191 career versus lefties
6. Cody Ross .254 career versus lefties
7. Miguel Olivo .291 career versus lefties
8. Alejandro de Aza 1.000 career versus lefties

P Anibal Sanchez: 2-1, 3.46 ERA and 16 strikeouts in Spring Training

WASHINGTON

1. Felipe Lopez .263 career versus righties
2. Kory Casto .000 career versus righties
3. Ryan Zimmerman .299 career versus righties
4. Austin Kearns .257 career versus righties
5. Dmitri Young .291 career versus righties
6. Brian Schneider .256 career versus righties
7. Ryan Church .268 career versus righties
8. Ronnie Belliard .270 career versus righties

P Matt Chico: 2-2, 5.16 ERA and 13 strikeouts in Spring Training

Analysis: The Marlins have 6 guys batting .290 or better against left handed pitchers and after winning the first two games of the series, they have all the momentum. Washington could quite possibly lose their first 10 games. The Nationals have a rookie on the mound who pitched in AA ball last year and who looked horrible in his last spring start. Sanchez is not a good daytime pitcher and I don't trust him on the road but Chico is going to put his team in a big enough hole for this game to hit. The way the Marlins have been hitting, playing against another lefty is going to be like inviting them to the candy store. Until Washington can get some of their players back, they are not going anywhere and not winning games.

hoping the Marlins bats stay hot today and the Nats still keep being terrible all around.

I think the Nats kid is going to be rattled in his first start with the pressure of the team already being 0-2.

Looks like the right side indeed......lets hope the baseball gods don't take pity on the horrible Nats.

Hey MF,

Great to see you here in the baseball forum. Best of Luck with the season and your plays today.

Scary game against the Flyers last night.if we lost that game then for sure we don't belong in the playoffs.

You got that right, but a powerplay in OT is always the right medicine for a sick team. :bunnies: (Good luck on the Fishies today)
