This is not the start to the season I was wanting but it'll get turned around. If you've followed so far it'll improve. If you haven't followed yet, I'm "due". :drink:

Early Predicted Lines:

Cleveland -125, O8.5 -115
Red Sox -250, U9 -115

Bets:

Cleveland Indians -113
Pitchers: Sowers/Buehrle

I love Buehrle more than anyone but he's not the same pitcher he was in previous years and the Indians hit him hard last year, as they do most lefties. Sowers has never faced the White Sox and the Sox can't hit leftites much. It's declining pitcher against team that hits lefties versus up and comer against team that doesn't. At -113, I'll take the road team.

Boston Red Sox -180

Pitchers: Matsuzaka/Greinke

What, you thought about being the personal hype man for Dice-K I was gonna lay off? Going against the Royals on the road for game one kinda scares me but no one can touch this guy. Greinke is a great story and I think he will be a very good pitcher but if Boston scores a single run, it may very well be enough here.

Predicted AL Lines:

Angels -185, 8.5 Pk

Bets:

Angels -1.5 +145

Pitchers: Saunders/Gaudin

I decided to play it safe since Saunders has had a sketchy spring but he appears to be ready and the A's don't hit lefties well. Anaheim has came out of the gates looking like one of the premier offenses in the league and Gaudin is only starting this game because Loaiza is hurt. He's not starter-quality and has been very unsuccessful in his starts in the past. Anaheim is playing great ball and should win this one by a few runs.

Atlanta Braves -106
Pitchers: James/Eaton

Every year is supposed to be the year that Eaton "gets it" but it just never happens. James dominated this Phillies team twice last season and they still can't hit lefties well. The Braves shouldn't need extra innings for this one unless Eaton has really finally turned the corner, which I doubt by his poor spring. Braves sweep.

Good start to the day if the Braves hold on. Still can't believe Cleveland lost on a bases loaded HBP haha.
