UFC 69 in Houston this weekend...

Was wondering if anyone has ever gone to a live fight and is it much better in person than on PPV TV??

I have, atmosphere is great but watching the fight is better on tv. The way the arenas are set up (too flat) doesn't allow you to see the fight too well. You are either on the floor, which is in the too flat area, or in the seats which is likely too far away. Our seats were like 10 rows back from the ring. I do some work for the UFC owners and a buddy of mine works for the video game company that does/did the UFC video game so we had "great" seats

I think I will plan on saving the $$ and just watch it on PPV...just wanted to inquire about the live atmosphere and if its worth it.

What part of Htown are you from Max. I am going to attend the weigh ins.

I live off Dairy Ashford and I-10...near Tully stadium. I work off the beltway and westheimer....what about you.
