I am surprised no one has set up shop yet and been broadly made available.

Hope someone gets to it before football. I don't have the motivation to wager through credit cards, wires, and western union. Too much work for a much smaller margin.

Anyways, let's hope something is under development.

Who is going to step up when the banks are stopping these transactions...no one. The banks control the flow of $$ and once a new processor tries to handle gambling transactions they will get cut off from the banks leaving them high and dry...JMO

I personally believe the reason a "new" option is slow in coming out, is that no company wants to make all the investment required to service "just" the gaming market. They have to prepare a plan "B", so their investment is protected in the event their supplying of gaming merchants is suddenly blocked by banks. That was one of Neteller's weak points- their "total" dependence on gambling-related business. They were a very large target. Some might argue that NETeller had a lot of other things going for them, but fact is they depended on US/Canadian volume, as do most offshore books.

I know people that have come up with some brilliant ideas to address the payment solution need, but a considerable investment is required. Any companies that step in to address this need will need to broaden their scope of activities in order to stay under the radars.

We will all simply need to be patient, since it is better "safe than sorry", especially with payment processing.

Plan B? You're right of course... but reminds me of something
Mike Tyson (in his prime ) once said. At that time he was winning--all his bouts and a reporter asked him about an upcoming fight with someone. Reporter's question was: "what do you think their plan will be"?

His comment was...."they all have a plan, till they meet... held up his fists....

LOL!
