I have a question. Do you think that adults that "seek" autographs are nerds? What I mean is adults waiting at the ballpark, hotel, etc. trying to get graphs. I could see getting autographs at a show. The reason why I ask is I use to get autographs when I was young until maybe a sophmore in college. I ran into a guy who use to get autographs at the same time at Scranton/Wilkes Barre (AAA Phillies/now Yanks) He said he still does it. Hands down I think it is sad fighting with kids to get graphs. What do you guys think? My specialty was getting cracked bats. I find it hard to imagine I would have any advanage over a kid and wouldn't even embarass myself.

I tend to see that the athletes sign the kids stuff first or some just blow off everybody and dont sign at all for anybody.Grady Sizemore of the Cleveland Indians is good for that.

It's definatly not as easy as it used to be to get autographs.

I remember at the boston garden you could just stand by the players tunnel with a program and a pen and you were certain to get a few autographs or at least one.

Now the cops tell you to get away.

Carmelo: Witness To Crime?
Carmelo Anthony's Friend Accused of Hitting Man

DENVER, Colo. -- It appears a fan of Nuggets All Star forward Carmelo Anthony and one of Anthony's friends got into a fight.

Denver police told 7NEWS that Anthony and a friend were inside a 7-Eleven store in southwest Denver about mid-March, when a young man asked Anthony for an autograph.

The police report said when Anthony turned him down, the fan started calling him names. The alleged victim claimed that's when Anthony's friend punched him.

Denver police spokesperson Sonny Jackson said at this point in the investigation Anthony is just a witness.

This isn't the first time Anthony has had a brush with police. In 2004, he was cited for marijuana possession, but later a friend claimed it was his. The charges against Anthony in that case were dropped.

That same year there was the infamous underground drug dealer's video he was a part of back home in Baltimore, Maryland.

Denver police said they would be able to give us release more information, so stay with 7NEWS for the very latest.
