How do you report sold stock on Tax Form.. Can someone help me?

Hopefully someone can help.. I sold $522 of stock in 2006, got a 1099 form from Sharebuilder..

How do I report this on Tax Form?

You need to know your cost basis, and if its a short or long term gain. You brokerage statements should have this

Goes on line 13 of your tax statement.
You will need to fill out a Schedule D and that should provide you with your net gain.
It is divided into short-term and long-term gains and losses.
It should be fairly easy to find your cost basis from your account.
I use Sharebuilder as well and it may take a little time, but is pretty simple math.
