PyRo's Saturday Diamond's (1-3, -7.40)

Well, the Jays closer couldnt get it done yesterday with a 1 out 2 run lead in the ninth...Onto today.

Yep, coming right back with the Jays here. I look for them to bounce back big today from that heart breaking loss last night. The Drays picked up 3 runs early in the game on 3 solo shots from 3 mistakes by Chacin. Toronto's bats were quiet early, and picked up in the late innings where they took a 2 run lead only to blow it with one of the best closers in the game, and given another chance today, I see him putting this one away. Devil Rays had to use up 3 arms from the pen yesterday, and their bullpen is one of the worst in baseball. I see them knocking out Fossum in the 4th or 5th, as he has typically struggled vs. the Jays then the horrid bullpen taking over and giving up a few more runs. These DRays hitters arent familiar with Righty starter Ohka, as he is coming over from the National League last year, combine that with a young inexperienced Drays ball club coming off an emotional win last night, they will struggle today. This is my favorite play of the year so far. Good luck to everyone, looks like a good card today. Fade Away.

2* Rockies/Padres Over 8.5 -115

Wells is old, out of shape, and quite frankly should have hung the cleats up. Both offenses are capable of putting up runs easily. I would say Rockies starter Josh Fogg's ERA is inflated because of pitching in Colorado, but his ERA has been High since entering the league. He also has a tendency to struggle and keep the ball on the ground as seen by his GB/FB ratio. Colorado used 3 guys out of the pen yesterday, and SD needed the bullpen for 3 innings of work. Keeping this play smaller because of the success of the SD bullpen this year, not surrendering a run yet, but they should get to Wells early and put up 3 on him.....SD's offense will do the rest of the work against Fogg.

I really dont want to lay 5 points with the Clippers since Denver is playing good ball with LAC right on their tail. If I had to play a side I would definitely play the Clips, and I like how they play on the final game of a homestand. Im going to look at it even more throughout the day, see where the public % lands close to gametime, as the number should fall. May play Clips ML or Clips minus whatever I can get. Thanks for pointing it out. Actually, theres a good chance I'll be on it, I'd suggest to wait until closer to tip.

i dont regret the play the Clippers had many chances to run away with it but they showed their true colors
