Money To Be Made ..Yipee..My Local Offers Only Flat Mlb Totals !!

Fellas ...Let Me Be Serious For One post in my life !

another local I Found Recently ONLY Charges FLAT Totals ? EX: the Total on The Toronto Game was ...the greek 10 n a half Under - 125/ Bodog 10n a half UNder -130.
This local only charged -110 !!!!!:money8:

of Course I Laid off some wagers that were Similar exploitations in free juice !

Question is ..in The long run ...IS There Money To be made From a local who Does nOT charge legitimate juice totals ? ...Should I have even tried To play +110 on the Over n than play UNder with my local n just try to go for middles ...OR is THERE A signaficant ADvantage on especially 30 cent juice lines when the guy is only chargin u -110...

what's ur feeling on this??...I'm gussin I can come out ahead in the next 20 wagers ....Can we Exploit this Free juice or should i just go for the middles ???:money8:

Win....is This a significant advantage or just a waste of time ??? If it is a waste of time, WHY Does Vegas use Juice lines instead of just a flat Rate ? My feeling is There has to Be an advsantage NO Doubt ! however, I'm still Unsure to what length and i'm askin for some facts ?:drink:

Ask yourself one question. Why is that when a Local offers better than the going rate He's an idiot but when one of the Top books offer significantly over the Odds, their Sharp. The saying is " beware of greeks offering Gifts" but it could easily be local books. As I said in iceman's thread, I've known some very sharp Locals that have to offer over the odds in order to get the bets but know their stuff inside out. Remember, just because you make something a good thing and pinny agrees doesnt mean the other fellows wrong all the Time and regardless, even -110 is tough to beat long term. :drink:

I agree with most said in this thread. Be careful and realize anything can most likely will happen over a couple hundred bets or less but just grind out all summer long and you will be up.

-110 is tough to beat longterm but not when the line is suppose to be -130.

it is possible to expoloit this , PROVIDING , you can quantify the intrinsic value of each of your wagers accurately, then use this EV to find the greatest disparity between the book and your man . It is something that is not easy to do, but it can be done, and if you are able to accurately put a number to your edge for each your bets , you can make some decent coin over time vs. your local . If your on the "right" side of the number more times than not , you WILL win over time, when you bet a -130 vs. a -110 , but you still have to be on the correct side, and limiting it to the short term is almost useless, the profit will be made over a large sample size of bets ( eg. an entire season of bets), not just 20, as you posted above . You are on the right track ,but are thinking short when you need to think long. Law Of Large numbers applies here. Hope this makes sense !!!

No way hes 3-4 points off posted lines and being right more than 50% longterm.

If so, he is wasting his time bookmaking.
