BOSUX fans are just huge haters of anything not Bah stan. I mean come on unless your from there how could you even cheer for anything from that state? They allow gays to get married, and are all for CHOWDA, and that fossil of a stadium that has so much history!! What two World Series in 88 years, and a bunch of there team falling short of glory.

Same can be said of Philly, New York, and a host of other cities.

Very true.

And I am firm believer that any true group of fans will eventually develop an 'Us agains the world' mentality.

I've convinced that most, if not all, BoSox fans are mildly retarded. The struggle with the English language.

If there was a remedial baseball league the Red Sox would be the Yankees of it.

Fenway Park

Locatd in the heart of a great city Fenway remains one of the best places to watch major league baseball in the country. Visit Fenway this year during the pennant race and you will see why Red Sox Nation is so devoted. The Red Sox are not only Boston's team they are New England's team and have a huge following on the road also.

Say what you want but MLB is much better off with The Red Sox and ancient but storied Fenway Park than without them...

The Red Sox were just another baseball team until this era of the rich teams that end up staying on top for 15 years running....

Lets face it Fenway park and the fans that have filled it for all these years are great for baseball....the Red Sox fans are pretty obnoxious when the travel to other stadiums...

I use to really hate the Red Sox fans but I've always respected them for loyalty ad passion... I have always liked the Red Sox..... Even if they've been one of the biggest choker teams in sports, they are usually a decent team.... and with all that tradition they have and the great stadium , Boston is good for baseball.

Journey well said. You see the big picture. You really are a good man and class act. Truly. Unfortuneately there are a lot of haters and jealousy out there. It goes with the territory I suppose.

As a Yankee fan, I'll be the first to admit that I think the Yankees and Red Sox (mostly the Yankees) with their ridiculous price wars are BAD for baseball and fans alike. I admire A-Rod's talent, but like Giambi, Mussina, Brown, Johnson, Sheffield, etc ... I just don't see him as a "real Yankee."

I'd rather have Soriano and that bum that was stealing sh*t from Jeter's locker to sell on eBay than a bunch of premadonna, over-paid free agents.

Doesn't seem that many other Yankees fans agree or even Boston fans feel the same about Schilling, so I'm clearly in the minority here.

Yank-Sox rivalry is one of the best, if not THE best in all of baseball. I don't root for either team but when ESPN has it on, I'm right there watching it from first pitch to last. It's the only rivalry (that my team isn't part of) that I follow religiously.

And how many of those championship teams was gAy-Rod on? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

He won as many titles as Ted Williams. So what. The list of people who won more than Big Papi is long too.

Would you rather have David Eckstein over Big Papi? He won two titles.

So you think gAy-Rod is better than Ted Williams? I doubt he would've gone 0RBIs & 0HRs in back to back post seasons. Hahahahahahahahahaha! Why would I pinch-hit Ortiz? He's the greatest CLUTCH HITTER the game has ever seen. Eckstein over gAy-Rod, absolutely.

You don't know that Williams would or would not. I am not saying that A-Rod will be looked at as better, but his career stats will probably blow away Williams' stats. I am aware that Williams lost a big part of his career to the war.

I can name a couple of future HOFers who were the greatest clutch hitters - Frank Thomas and Jeff Bagwell.

He is far from the greatest Clutch hitter the game has seen. You must be very young man.

What like 2 titles in 100 years or so compared to the Yankees 26 world titles. You are so jealous it is pathetic. Why don't you comment on the facts about A-Rod? Oh I forgot you can't dispute them as they blow your stupid ideas out of the water.
