I would like to re-assure everyone here at The Rx. that Skybook is doing very well and is properly staffed with seasoned and well trained employees. Their upper management which includes GM Keith, Head linesman Fernando, and CSD manager Mike are as good as anyone in the business. Employee morale at the book is excellent and new player friendly rules like a 10 cent baseball line up to $1.90 are examples of what Skybook is doing to remain competive in the Offshore Market.

Please do not take any stories about Skybook being in trouble or understaffed serious. I have a lot of contact with them and they are well configured to compete in the Offshore post up market for years to come. The Rx. will not tolerate unsubstantiated rumors about Skybook or any other sponser book to be posted on these boards now or in the future. Anyone with a real problem with Skybook (or any other sponser) simply needs to email me at wilheim@therx.com and I will get it straightened out immediately.

Thanks, wilheim...

For The Record

Today is Easter Sunday and probably the most devout holiday of the year here in Costa Rica, if Skybook or any other book here in CR is understaffed it is because of cultural reasons and simply a one day of the year problem. Everything in the country is closed today except the sport books and most of them are running with less than a full staff.

I would counsel players in the US to please show a bit of patience and understanding today Easter Sunday for the hard working Costa Rican clerks that service your accounts everyday of the year.

No Newport is not banned.

Thanks, wilheim

Please let me provide my question differently.

This has been a week long, and the only reason I asked the question here is because their is a hush about it when asking the staff. You rationale behind Easter and the need of patience is acceptable if they were criteria that matched my question. No there phone change came 6 days ago, and some of the staff laugh about it and say Who knows?? And I have not been able to get MIke in that time frame who I know well.

So that is the reason for the question...surely I have a plethora of patience......I just like truth as my colleuges do as well. That is all.

HAPPY EASTER RX!!

Anyone with a problem with phone service at Skybook is also free to email General Manager Keith at keith@skybook.com - personally I have no knowledge of any phone service problems at Skybook.

This is an entirely different issue and one I know Skybook as well as many other books are looking to improve on. The problem has always been that moving money is expensive and since the loss of Neteller now so more than ever. Hopefully some method will surface soon that will make it more economical for both player and book to move funds.

Right now Skybook offers withdrawal by Neteller (non US based players), Visa, MasterCard, FirePay, Citadel (checks), Bank wire, player to player and sportsbook transfers.

Pretty sure every book ( cept Pinny) has those at 20 cents, or 30.

Doug is correct, as far as I know almost all books treat 1st 5 innings bets like a prop and charge extra juice.
