Could you imagine if this was a MLB or NFL game folks would be glued to it but not to many care about NHL in the states these days plus you cant see it without NHL ticket.

Glad they dont use shootouts in the playoffs.

NBC couldn't show this but they showed Chicago-Dallas and Buffalo-Philly instead. Bettman is a dumbass.

First thing the NHL needs to do to start to get people back to hockey is fire Bettman.

Leaving ESPN was a big mistake and when the verses contract is up I cant see ESPN taking them back now that they have arena football and NASCAR and the fact they get better ratings showing 2004 world serires of poker highlights then they did with live NHL games.

True, and the Versus network is available on many cable outlets throughout the country.

Besides, I know many people that have the Center Ice package anyway..............
