great stuff by Zach today. The winner at Augusta has come from the final pairing the previous 16 years. Can you imagine that stat? Tiger WAS IN THAT final pairing today. Zach showed a lot of courage today, the field did not cave to Tiger. He shot 69 to catch the leaders and win.

i respect the guy but....

no doubt he showed tremendous heart and in a way i understand he was caught up in the moment showin a side to him that was indeed humble n classy...however, i have a problem with every tom , dick, n harry "thankin God" For An Event that Clearly .QUITE cLEARLY GOd Has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FVCKN DO WITH WHATSOEVER !

You need to pay attention.
He was sincerely thanking JC. Some people are caught up in the moment or whatever and thank him then...but he was seemed to clearly be real.

I don't think God made this guy birdie 14 and 16 when the heat was on, but I believe someone can obtain strength from a source like God no matter what you are doing-including playing GOLF for a living.

He said that the win would only change his "professional" career; he was very calm and collected during the interview.

He thanked Jesus because Jesus is God's son, and he is hoping to get the word out to all you guys who don't know about Him or reject Him. He is using the greatest stage he has ever had to share his faith. Christians aren't usually allowed to do that in today's world.

His dream was to play for Iowa. They turned him down for a college golf scholarship so he went and played for Drake.

I can't imagine the recruiting of talent they would get with an alum who won the Masters.

Apparently Jesus back in the day was an avid golfer, thats why "jesus was with him the entire way." What a load of bullshit. Save the preaching for the church.
