The A's as an organization preach patience and Contreras' control can be a nightmare once in a while. He had a game in Oakland either last year or two year's ago when he threw upto 4 wild pitches. It was sickening. Add that to the fact that Harden's numbers vs. the Sox are amazing, I don't think the books can get me to put a single penny on the Sox on Monday. I'm a huge Sox fan and want to see them win, but I don't like our chances much like I didn't like our chances on Sunday vs. Johan Santana and the Twins (other than a pipedream bet w/ them being +173 at home).
