Contreras is a good April pitcher and should be able to bounce back against a not so powerfull offensive team in Oakland. Harden is 6-0 (His team is 10-0) in April since 2005 and I expect him to perform well in his home opener. Both teams have hard time scoring runs. Three straight unders for the White Sox, four for Oakland. Good luck!

Have to agree with you here, Vendetta. I have watched every pitch of every game the A's have played this year so far, and they are not hitting the ball at all. With Harden going for the A's, this looks like a good one.

Good luck.

Cain and Young allowed only 11 hits on 49 at bats (.224 BA) on April 4th. Six out of eight runs scored in that game came with home runs. Very uncaracteristic for these two pitchers. Cain allowed only 1 HR in 5 previous starts vs SD and only 10 in his previous 24 starts overall. Young allowed only 1 HR in his previous two starts vs SF. Petco Parc is probably the hardest place to hit a HR in the majors.

Becareful, be verrrryyyyy careful with your Oakland/White Sox play. Contreras is absolutely HORRENDOUS in Oakland....
3 GS, 0-2, 10.95 ERA, 12.1 IP, 16 H, 15 BB, 7 K
vs. the A's overall...
5 GS, 1-3, 7.61, 23.2 IP, 24 H, 20 BB, 15 K

The A's as an organization preach patience and Contreras' control can be a nightmare once in a while. He had a game in Oakland either last year or two year's ago when he threw upto 4 wild pitches. It was sickening. I'm a huge Sox fan and want to see them win, but I don't like our chances.

Harden has been very successful against the Sox w/ a very low ERA. He might hold them to no more than 3 runs and the A's may just score 5 to help you sneak w/ a win, but this under has trouble written all over it because of Contreras' past in Oakland.

I like the Giants/Padres under though. I also like the Padres to win that game easily.
