They allow $500/transaction, but is there a cap on how many transactions?

I've sent more than that at once with Moneygram. I am not aware of any caps they have but I am sure they exist.

It's $500 instantly by CC and $899 over a few days by EFT per transaction, but it seems to me it can be repeated.

I'm wondering if it can be repeated 100 times. I'm gonna call them and find out.

sounds like you are talking about online from their website, those caps are so lame its pointless, go to an agent.

I tried setting it up online and it was a real hassle. Seemed like they already had my life story on file - what places I lived, what cars I had, etc. And even after all that, I still could not get it to send any money. Going to an agent was a lot easier.

So at an agent, you just take cash like WU in the good old days?

Do they blacklist?

Yeah, I was able to send some decent cash amounts with Moneygram. They do track each transfer by your phone number but I have not had any problems yet like with WU. Good to enjoy this while it lasts I guess.

I've sent as much as $1,800 at a time from an agent location, they usually flag it though and make you call back in and answer the standard questions.

What kind of personal information do they require from you when using MoneyGram? Social Security number? Drivers license? etc.etc.?

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Oh yes the will...my brother is blacklisted after sending 5k for to his book for 3 straight days. He wanted to have 15k to wager in his account and they flagged him after he sent the 3rd 5k

I sent $2500 to fulltilt poker about 2 months ago. All in one transaction that cost I believe $13.95.

I have also received $1500 on 3 seperate occassions via moneygram. It arrived within 24 hours each time. Now i went to Walmart since they always have the cash on hand. Sometimes if you want more than $1000, the smaller moneygram outlets will give you a check. But Walmart will give you the cash if it is lower than $5000 or so.

If you send over $1000, you have to show a DL. I had to show my DL each time I sent over $1000 at least
