Neteller gave my friend free $3000USD

My friend in Windsor has a Canadian neteller account with USD currency. He did a $3000USD Instacash on March 17. He used the insta cash to send it to pinnacle. But neteller never took the money out of his bank account.

Few days later that netelller announced that canadians will no longer be allowed to use the instacash option. They also announced that Canadian will no longer be able to use neteller for gambling purpose. Since they never toook the $3k from his bank account, my guess is that canadian banks have blocked neteller trnasactions because of they way they treated american clients.

Its april 10 now and they still havent taken the money from my friends bank. Usually they take it with in 4 business days. I was so happy when i heard that he managed to milk 3k from neteller coz i have many friends in usa who still have their money stuck in neteller.

I am just wondering if there are any other canadians who used the instacash option on or after march 17....if so did they take the money from your bank?

A NETeller EFT just landed in my bank account today. So, no. Our banks are still working with NETeller.

Your friend just got 'lucky' and a transaction got lost in the tubes. They will probably catch it eventually.

I guess that would be somewhere in the internet "tubes"? If they catch it eventually they will no doubt send it for collection.

Many years ago my credit card paid for an airline ticket 8 months after my travel was completed.

He might want to close that account & use another bank
if he intends to keep the $3000. When the collection
agencies come after him he can tell them he'll return it
when Neteller pays what they owe to US residents.

Not sure how Canadian credit law works, but I doubt NEteller will be validating many debts...

On the other hand, Pinnacle may eventually pay netller back and debit your friends account.

MAKING A THREAD ABOUT THIS DOESN'T HELP YOUTR FRIENDS CASE EITHER. Anyone related to pinny can just send this this thread off to them and search all the 3000K (insta) deposits from canada via neteller at about that time.

he doesnt want to close his bank account....he is not trying to stiff them or anything. he is just waiting of neteller to take the money....but at this point he thinks that they wont take it...

and pinnacle will not be neteller's bitch.....beside i think he made the insta cash deposit into neteller then he sent it to pinnacle from neteller....

and yes withdrawals are ok with canadians...when i said canadian banks might have blocked neteller transaction...i meant letting neteller taking money from canadian personal bank account.....withddrawals should be ok...

and about the lost transaction...i dont see how that is possible...isnt everything electronic???

WELL NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE QUESTION THAT I ASKED IN MY INITIAL POST. HAS ANY OTHER CANADIAN GONE THROUGH THIS AROUND THOSE DATES?
