Why are so many books refusing to use Eco or Webmoney?

Eco has been used by Mansion for over 2 years and has been in business for over 5.

Both Pinnacle and Olympic use Webmoney.

The above two indicate that these are likely legit companies.

Why are most books refusing to use them? They have a ready to go system available. Many books have said they are looking but have not gone for them...

I personally don't think most books want another neteller.

I agree
If I ran a book offshore why would I want my players transfering $ easly to my COMPETITION
It has been almost 7 months since this first started I think it's is becoimg clear that the books are to
lazy
scared
or
GREEDY (my pick)
to try and come up with some alternatives to move money
It did not take a rocket scientist to see that neteller was going sooner than later(and do not give me any BS about neteller's promise of 90 day notice)
They have figured out ways for us to get money to them but no way for the players to move money from site to site
and why would they. They have our $ and the longer it is there the more likely it will be lost

Sean,

The neteller fall really seemed to hurt you(as it did everyone), but thread after thread about neteller replacements is all I see lately from you, no?

Well until there is a replacement, I will not have any significant money offshore so it is kind of important and not really much else to talk about. Having not placed a significant bet since the Indy/New England game, I'm out of topics.... I will probably set up shop in Panama once Neteller finishes up their US negotiations if it becomes stable. I got a hospital to set up a bank and ID for me in exchange for some work there. But until then, I can only hope some transfer site takes over.

Although books like having you trapped, I have to think picking up and sending 1000s of WU, wires, checks must be a much bigger pain in the ass than one wire with neteller each week.

There are two reasons I'm not wagering till something similar replaces:

1. My profitability falls greatly by not being able to move money. I would guess I moved money 20-40 times/month to balance out balances. No way to do this by mail waiting 3 weeks for checks or even using Canadian banks for wires.

2. Neteller offered the industry stability. Many books operate on float and Neteller made this a hell of a lot easier to do. I'm not advocating operating on float, but knowing some books do, I'd rather it be easy for them.

I looked into starting a new transfer service just for Canada - talked to both US and Canadian lawyers. The US lawyers said as long as I blocked US IP addresses, required Canadian addresses and banks, I would break no US laws even if in the US. THis is how Playboycasino operates in the UK. Unfortunately, it is ambiguous as to whether or not Canada allows booking (They probably do not according to the Canadian lawyers). Although Canada has never enforced anything, if the US gov put pressure on them, they might and likely have the laws to do it - hence no transfer service for me.

I guess about 20%-30% of the people who used Neteller were either sharp and beating the book consistently or bonus whores/scalpers etc. Joe six-pac books through his buddy or funded his OS account via an ETF transfer or CC

I am not sure if they are glad to them go though , as they definaltely added needed liquidity...be interesting to get a a big OS's take.

Eco is a little hassle to withdraw (only bankwire and no ATM/debit card). Plus every time you make a deposit, you have to fill out a form and send it to them to credit your account.

I find it not too user friendly. Just my opinion.

Finding a Neteller replacement is definitely important. All the remaining e-wallets suck in one way or another. Really bad customer service, high fees, low limits, etc. Lack of widespread merchant support is another one. Neteller at its peak was virtually universally supported by every merchant.
