The game is considered "official" for runlines and totals after 9 full innings of play. So if the game was called, you would lose your bet.....

YES i stated that and stand corrected. It would not be a rainout but not count in standings wahatsoever.

how abou this a grand salmi bet,

The Baseball Grand Salami has no action if any game is rained out or final in less than 8½ innings.

Game would count towards it as well.

It was a big loser anyways.

AT least it wasnt 4-4 and 8.5 over would have been a given, allmost assumed winner, if I was out I would have paid for the drinks already.

Snap.

Any word on if it will be finished or made up at some point or will these teams just play 161 games this year (what I assume)?

The florida commentators reckoned it would be continued tomorrow under the new MLB rule.

What is the new rule?

So if I have a striaght bet on Florida is it cancelled or will it still be a live bet pending the continuation tomorrow.

Thanks Julio, you POS!

THIS GAME WAS AND IS DEAD UNDER AND NO-MATTER.

I was thinking this would be hairy if MIL scored like 5 runs in the top of the inning (11) and then it was called. Doesn't seem to right for RL bettors in some circumstances depending how many are on base etc. Usually bets are never continued from one day to another for any reason as well. So you could lose a game on the run-line that gets continued the next day that the team eventually may win by a few runs.

I assume it gets continued tommorrow (with exact pitch counts etc.), but what about betting purposes?

Maybe there are some new rules this year that I need a bit of a clarification on. No matter not a big bet, and was already written off.

Honestly, not sure of the betting rule as it is the first time it has happened this year. Off the top of my head, I would guess that all bets would be refunded but I could be wrong on that.

I remember i bet on houston a few years back in the dierker stroke game and the bets were void (it was continued later), i was doing well in that one.

I couldn't see a SUNDAY-MONDAY carryover going well with a local as well.

Johny tell us when and how your book grades it, I'll do likewise, I'm assuming it's a big fat loser for the time being.
