For as long as I have been wagering on baseball, games that are suspended are deemed "no action."

Has this suddenly changed ???

I won't mention the book involved (yet), but they are trying to tell me that my play last night on FLA -1.5 is a losing play. The game was suspended in extra innings with the score tied 2-2.

Again.....I have never heard of a suspended game that didn't have all bets refunded. I would not have expected to be paid if I had MIL +1.5

Anybody know about this stuff ??

That is way wrong. Any suspended, ppd, or ingame cancelled game SHOULD be deemed as a no action. On the other hand if it was like 2-1 Fla in the 7th or 8th when they got delayed and the game got called.. you would have lost. But that was not the case, I would call your offshore book.

These days suspended games count for total and RL if they go a full 9 innings - Las Vegas Rules

When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.

From the website of the book involved:

We do not recognize suspended games, protest, overturned decisions, etc, for wagering purposes, and all wagers must go the day written, otherwise there is no action and all monies are refunded.

If the rules have changed, the website should reflect that change in my opinion. Capn....how long has that new rule been in effect ??

Also your post regards totals....this was a run line.....not the same thing

I stand corrected. This from The Greek's website.....(the Greek was NOT the book I made the play at, but I respect the Greek's rules).

If a game goes past 9 innings and is not completed (ie suspended, curfew, rain delay, etc.), there is action on game total and runline wagers.

Sorry.....I should have looked that up before posting.

Does this mean that moneyline games still play? I am still a bit confused about what exactly carries over and what is canceled as no action.

It's true. I won on that game with the under and the game was 2-2 and suspended in the tenth. That was with Betcris.
