milwaukee (-110)
bush is the better pitcher in this one. hes one of those enigmatic pitchers. lots of potential but lacks consistency. one thing thats a plus for him is that he pounds the strikezone. he doesnt walk a lot of guys and he is capable of 5+ strikeouts each time he starts. mitre never impressed me with the cubs and hasnt really changed my opinion during his stint with the marlins.

tampa bay (+145)
tejada was awesome against boston in his first start. but this kid has a major tendency to load up the bases with walks. little known fact: his era at HOME is a over a run higher than his career era on the ROAD. its not rocket science. putting baserunners on with walks is not good. putting them on with walks in a hitters park like arlington is a recipe for disaster. win or lose, tejada is grossly overpriced in this game.

cleveland under 9 (+110)
looking for a westbrook bounce back after getting his hard the second day of the season in chicago. a reasonable strikezone wouldnt hurt either, as both garland and westbrook had to deal with a ridiculously small zone that day. saunders baffled the indians in his lone start against them last year. definitely expecting a low scoring game here. a 9 at "plus money" made my eyes light up. hopefully the scoreboard doesn't do the same.

washington (+1.5) (+110)
chaz james as a 250+ moneyline chalk? and still chalking on a -1.5 runline? the nats might be bad, but not this bad. got a shitty price considering whats out there now though. but still more than comfortable with a small return even on the dog runline.

playing san francisco late night (+130)
two finesse pitchers going at it in this one. this whole division is a crapshoot. aside from someone like jake peavy or brandon webb, there isnt a single pitcher in the nl west that is worth more than 13/10 right now. that sounds extreme, but i really believe that. anyone can beat anyone in this division on a given night. give me lowry and his junk in a pitchers park and ill take my chances.
