Miami has always been mostly a Dolphin town, and solid backing of the Heat, but with bandwagon-only support for the Canes, and never for the Marlins except in the 1st WS win year.

The Fish along with the Twins in Baggydome, both need new parks, but at least Minny-St.Paul support their team.

I've been for keeping the team in Miami in the past, but the handwriting is on the wall with their crowds..

Nash & Port have the wealth demographic and somewhat smalltown mentality that would attend games..Miami is all about restraunts/clubs/beach/shopping..

LV and SA, have the growing populaces, milder weather in terms of rain, and expanding Spanish demographics..do Fla's Cubans care less about attending than would Southwestern US Mexicans? At least LV Hotels could comp seats to fill the games at absolute worst.

Every game has an ocean of empty seats right over the dugouts..looks like a pickup game, hell, donate them to charity..get some school groups in there.

Jeez, Pull the plug already!

Years ago went to a Single A game in Portland Oregon that drew over 10,000 people. That city would support a team.

I think Austin/OKC/Omaha/Lville/etc..also would even be better than Miami.
