Taking a look at the early games first. I'm favoring the over in the Indians/Angels game, but I need to look at a few more numbers and I have no idea how many regulars will actually play the early afternoon game. The BoSox/M's game is confusing me a bit. I'm inclinded to jump on Boston -1.5 (+130) which seems pretty solid, but Washburn has done rather well at Fenway, which confuses me a bit.

Be back in a bit with a play.

Indians ML (-135)

Sowers looked great vs. the White Sox a week or so ago and his style is suited to shut down the Angels bats. He'll be throwing quick and lots of strikes. The hungover Halos bats won't be able to figure him out. He should go 6-7 innings and the Cleveland offense should wake up after napping and scoring only 1 run on Wednesday night.

In his brief major league career, Mosely (starter for Angels), has pitched 5 innings against the Tribe and has given up 10 hits. His ERA is high as you would expect (7.20). Add that to the fact that he has thrown 4 innings during the day in his ML career, and he's also given up 10 hits in that span, while walking 2 and K'ing just 1.

Moseley turned up with a great performance. But as I expected, Sowers was great. I expected the bats for Cleveland to be awake all day long and that they would score at least 5 runs, but they didn't wake up until the 7th and 8th, especially in the 8th with Hafner's first HR of the year, a big one.

Don't be mad, get on the nightcap! :banger:
