Grady Little. He is horrible. Obviously that Pedro Martinez thing but just in this series against the Rockies I can name 3 things retarded. He put in Beimel to pitch to Helton and then left him IN with Broxton warming up to pitch to Holliday (ended up paying off but thats highly insane). He then today decides that he wants to change his rotation to have someone in between Schmidt and Penny. This should have been done in spring training but he is a moron and had Wolf pitch game 2. Now he realizes I don't want two power pitching righty's in a row.....The Dodger's are loaded and are my pick to win the World Series if he blows this he needs to be fired immed.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

agree. he is horrible. they have so much talent young and old on that team and they are playing nowhere near potential.

Players play hard for Grady Little. In today's game that is half the battle. They love him. He is a great man. No Red Sox player will ever bad mouth him. THey also won under him just like the Dodgers did last year. I did not follow the Dodgers last year but they did ok. You can do much worse than Grady Little.

Jim Tracy

1. His players do not understand the fundamentals of the game. His OF's do not understand which base to throw to. At the plate, his players do not know where to place a bunt in order to get runners over. These are things that are worked on all spring...so to have this problem in the first two weeks of the season is not good.

2. His usage of Torres as closer. Poor choice IMO. Already lost two games vs a division opponent because of him.

Grady little is a great manager for the reason that you just explained. The Pedro has been blown way out of proportion. If he takes Pedro out and the bullpen blows it everyone criticizes him for that. He showed faith in one of, if not the best pitcher of our Era and he failed his manager. He shows faith in his players, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but in the end the players will love your style and in the end players that really play for you, will win a hell of a lot more games then guys who can in game manage and their players hate them.

I agree. For the record I would have left Pedro in the game and I would have been wrong, but you go with the best. Even MJ missed game winners.

Charlie Manuel...... His managerial mistakes alone cost the Phillies a playoff spot last year. Terrible game day manager.
Not to worry Phillies fans, he won't be around at the end of the season.

I'd have to think it would have to be someone in the NL. Not many moves in the AL except for taking out a pitcher or pinch hitting. NL has double switches and alot more strategy type moves because the pitchers hit

Bruce Bochy - he will lose a limb before he puts on a bunt or a hit and run.

Terry Francona....I still think he was along for the ride when Red Sox won the championship in 2004.Was hard to do much wrong with that talented team. Same as the coach(Raymond Berry) who took the Patriots to the Super Bowl in 86 where the Bears massacred them.

This is clearly just to create argument. In fact you don't even say why he is a "good manager". Showing trust in your players is one thing. Putting them in bad situations is another. Leaving Beimel to pitch to right handers with the bases loaded is highly insane. Deciding now to put Wolf in the middle of Schmidt and Penny should of been done before the season. Andre Either and Matt Kemp can't get started because they are in and out of the lineup everyday. Hopefully with Kemp hurt Either will start to hit. He is a horrible manager.
