I noticed today on my PNC online bank statement that a transaction that was done on prepaid visa, a week ago has been reversed and that money is back in my account.

Last week, I used the online prepaid visa to fund my account, the transaction went through and money was withdrawn from my account. I looked at my PNC bank statement online today and that transaction has dissapeared. Any advice?

I decided to not do any transactions at that bank for awhile and see if I hear anything. The account is only about a month old.

well...hopefully i can try to explan this for you since I used to work at a bank..what happens is that when you purchase something online, all those transactions will be considered credit transactions. When you make credit tans, in order for merchant to get paid from your bank acct, they need to submit the paper work. If they don't sumbit that paper work usually within 3-5 business days, money will be put it back into your bank account and you won't even see that trans on your bank statement. However, that money can be withdrawn right away as soon as that merchant submits the paper work to bank and your bank will post that trans right away instead of that trans go through pending trans again.....
