Sounds to me what Imus said hit home pretty hard...takes about 2 seconds of audio to hear the nappiness....

What Imus did is terrible but what if he was talking about the Duke stripper on his radio show (forget the whole Rutgers incident) and called her a "nappy headed ho" for her false accusations?? Would there be an outrage? Would he be fired? That woman is bottom of the barrel trash. I don't think he'd be fired. I don't even think they'd even mention it.
Instead, he directed it to the Rutgers team who is classy and has a squeaky clean image.

How many remember the Tawana Brawley case? Reverend Al jumped in with both feet when Brawley accussed 6 white law enforcement officers of raping her. It was later found that the case was not credible and it was thrown out of court. Sharpton was also found liable for dammages in a suit brought by one of the accused. Yet this guy is still seen as a viable spokesman? What about that Reverend AL? Imus was incredibly stupid for doing what he did, but Sharpton sickens me. The fact that this guy has creds is unbelievable. Doesn't seem to matter that he and Jesse often are on the wrong side (Duke case?), he keeps yapping enough he's bound to get some things right.
