Roswell, Georgia (WMAZ/AP) - Police say a former professional wrestler, Glenn Robert Gilbertti, was among 27 people arrested in a gambling raid in a home in Roswell.
Roswell police Sergeant B.C. Brackett says Gilbertti, who wrestled under the name Disco Inferno, was charged with commercial
gambling and for violation of the controlled substance act, both felonies.
Brackett says eight of those arrested were charged with felony counts.
The others face misdemeanor charges.
Police said the arrests Monday night were the result of a six-month investigation into commercial gambling.
Investigators say players had to go online and register and then receive an invitation to the game, as well as put down ten-thousand dollars to get into the house where the poker game was being played.
