A-freakin-men!

Remember Tommy Tubberville being one of the main guys who pushed this stupid rule thru.

I still don't understand why they don't do it like the NFL: Don't stop the clock on first downs (or the last 5 minutes of the game) and re-start the clock after ball is reset when someone runs out of bounds, ect...

Would take care of the 4 hour game problem right there

It was very difficult to score late in the game and half....not only did it shorten the games by 14 PPG, the plays late in halves were usually wasted, teams getting the ball back under two minutes were pretty much screwed...

Teams could also millk leads much easier, bleeding the clock at the end of qts and beginning of the next qtr made the games much less attractive IMO.

I am in favor of any system that means more NCAA football. I could watch a college football game for 5 hours if it last that long.

We all knew this was coming and I am glad that they realized that these two changes absolutely fucking sucked last year.
