Predicted Lines:

Angels -120, 9.5 Pk
Cleveland -110, U9.5 -110
Baltimore -170, U9 -125
Houston -110, U8 -110

Bets:

Kansas City/Baltimore Under 9 -105
Pitchers: Duckworth/Bedard

KC isn't hitting much of anything and Bedard very well could be a top 10 pitcher this year. He's an excellent lefty I see him dominating this young Royals' lineup. Duckworth looked great his first time out and although I don't expect him to repeat that performance, he still should do decent against a Baltimore team that isn't coming close to looking like a major league offense. Bullpens scare me but the value is there.

Predicted Lines:

Toronto -145, U8.5 -110
NYM -175, O10 -115
Florida -130, O9 -125
Minnesota -220, 8 Pk
Milwaukee -115, U8.5 -115

Bets:

Detroit Tigers +137
Pitchers: Bonderman/Halladay

Two starters are sitting for the Jays today and Halladay hasn't been as sharp as usual so far. He'll give up a few runs here and there and although he won't get rocked, it'll be enough for this game to be very winnable for the Tigers. Bonderman looked good in his first start and you have to figure he'll do okay here against some guys who are usually backsups. Detroit didn't win a ton of games last year by accident and they'll have to start playing good ball again.

Washington Nationals +180
Nats/Mets Over 9 -115
Pitchers: Patterson/Pelfrey

Pelfrey has alot of potential but he's been pretty iffy this spring and has given up runs in almost every one of his major league starts. He just might not be ready just yet. Patterson has pitched like crap but this is his third start back from his shoulder injury and he has to be getting more confidence in throwing the stuff he used to throw. I expect both guys to give up runs with Washington having a shot at another "miracle" cover.

Florida -115
Florida/Atlanta Over 9 +105

Pitchers: Willis/Redman

Florida is hitting excellent and Atlanta will be an easier park to score runs in than their home park. They are hitting lefties very well this year and Redman is not a good pitcher anymore. He's a back of the rotation guy that gives up runs and Florida should score nicely. AtL has enough offense to put some up on Willis but the kid with the crazy windup has been pitching well this year and shouldn't get rocked like Redman probably will.

Well, Washington lost in the late innings after leading for most of the time and my under in KC/Bal got a push after Baltimore hit a grand slam in their last inning to bat. Hopefully there will be a day soon when I don't have to think everything is going against me. That day is not today. It's a long season though, won't be the last time a gambler has some rough go's.
