playing the under 99. both teams had their scoring spurts (lakers in the 2nd, clippers early on in the first). yet the 1h total still needed a late surge to get over the number. obviously the clippers are the better defensive team. lakers are mediocre at best on that end of the floor. but the clips really need this game. they got off to a good start and then went ice cold. i think the clips control tempo in the 2h.
clippers just have a way of having their games griiinnd, even if scoring is abundant early in a half. their game vs. denver was like that last week. same with the new orleans game the other night. game has a good chance of staying close and becoming a halfcourt contest in the final 6:00 of the 4th. will take my chances. again, lakers under is always risky. but i think its the right play given their opponent.
Im with ya prod on the under .. I know that it already started but... I took the under as well... it just took too much to get the number it ended at for the first half.. the tempo is much slower then a 100 point half needs...
