I am losing faith on this guy fast. He came here in a good situation 2 years ago and looked ready to blossom and help replace Damon. You would have thought that. He is not near Damon and is not good at all. I hope I am wrong and time will tell but this guy looks lost. He will probably get injured again too. They moved him down to the 8th spot inthe lineup to take pressure off him. So far he is batting .133 after 0-2 today.

Cocoa Crisp is what he is...he wasn't really brought in to replace Damon (so to speak).

They needed someone to fill Damon's role for the time being, until Jacoby Ellsbury will be brought up next season. Damon was vastly over payed at his time during free agency, and the Sox's chance of re-signing him were very slim - as it was evident the Yanks were gonna get him no matter what price.

I dont think it was a bad deal, yet...if Andy Marte becomes an all-star then Cleveland go the better of the deal...but def. to early to judge. And Crisp was likely the best option at CF - especially when you see someone like Matthews Jr. getting a 5yr/$55mill contract after only one good year.

Crisp looks atrocious. The Sox could never have envisioned him being this bad. I do not like his defense much either. I hope he turns it around but doubt it. Crisp is a bust. Terrible.

I'm just not happy to keep seeing Paps coming in on the 8th? I thought the BP was supposed to be better.

Yes, Willie Mo could be on the horizon at least against lefties and hopefully more. That could really be happening. No way are the Sox putting up with this bum for long. I seriously doubt Crisp will be there in August.

Nice win tonight!

Thxs for Marte and you got a weak hitting,no arm in the outfield who gets hurt. When healthy he has speed but you have to get on to use it and be on the field.Have fun with Coco.

Terry managed a good game. So nice to have the JD drew protection too. They tried to pitch around Manny and JD made them pay.

Drew is a key for us. IF healthy he will do just fine protecting Manny and Ortiz. We took a lot of crap for his signing but he can be a nice addition.

PHOENIX - Oakland Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, the third major league player to be charged with DUI during spring training.
The A's said in a statement that Crisp was arrested early Wednesday in Scottsdale. He was released from jail and arrived at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on time to take part in pre-game drills before Oakland's exhibition against the Cleveland Indians.
Crisp was in the clubhouse before the game but did not speak with reporters.
The team said it is taking Crisp's situation "seriously" and will have no further comment "until further details are available."
Detroit's Miguel Cabrera was arrested last month in Florida on DUI charges, and Cleveland's Austin Kearns is facing a similar charge after being pulled over in Kentucky and arrested on Feb. 12.
