Runners on first and second with 2 out. Down 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth.

Pitcher Pelfrey is up.

Pinch hit, right?

He didn't pull Pelfrey there because the bullpen has been a little overworked this week. Unlike you guys, he's looking at what's best for the team for the next few days, not just the few minutes that you idiots are worried. He knows that this team will score runs against the likes of the Nationals, and that he doesn't need to make a knee jerk reaction in the 5th. They still pulled out the win, so obviously he knew what he was doing. Remember a manager's mentality is a lot different then a bettor's mentality. You guys need to relax a little.

With the offense the Mets have, why would a manager be panicking in the 5th innning, down one run, to the Nationals of all teams?
