Saturday, 04.14.07 - Picks by the Numbers - [23-8]

23-8, +19.98

Looking at the Tigers/BJays and Natz/Mets games right now. Those are the only two of the four early, early games I may have a play on. I will no longer make any plays on the White Sox and Cubs until further notice. It's not good to have your heart involved in some of these plays and that is the case w/ most all of my Sox/Cubs plays.

Here are my two early, early plays...
Tigers ML (+160)
Nationals/Mets u9 (-115)

Short Summaries...
Durbin does very well vs. Toronto while Burnett has struggled in his limited time vs. the Kitties.
Shawn Hill is Cy Young during the day and crap at night. Natz offense blows and El Duque almost always keeps them in check.

Going to bed now, will be up to catch these games along w/ my White Sox and my boy John Danks.

Cubs and White Sox fan...wow I thought that was unheard of...but it always made sense to me...Keep on pounding out those winners and great realization about betting with the heart...BOL!!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, a Cubs fan? Me?? No, no! Lol. I meant because I'm such a diehard Sox fan then naturally I'm not going to like the Cubs much. So chances are I'll doubt them more times than not.

Just one play for the second wave of games and it's kind of a high risk/low reward game, but it's not too shabby...

Red Sox ML (-200)

Will definately have more games for tonight.

I'm a lucky man folks. That's all I can say right now. Nats/Mets scored 8 runs in the first 6 innings and just one more w/ 18 outs left would've made us losers and we had some scares, but the 6-2 score holds up to be the final.

The Tigers were down early and haven't held a lead in the game yet, but they just tied it up in the 8th only to watch Overbay hit a home run to put the BJays up ahead again in the bottom of the inning. The Tigers bullpen is why I think they are overrated. Lets hope they have another comeback left in them.

1-0, +1.00 unit so far on the day w/ 2 plays in-progress.

Didn't they have a good bullpen last year? Did that much change in the off-season?

Yes. Even if the same guys cameback, which they didn't, they still wouldn't be the same. Look at the 2005 White Sox, we had Dustin Hermanson, Cliff Politte, and Neal Cotts with career years. Where are they now? Two are out of the game and one is still the closer yet having problems.

Regardless, Tigers have scored 4 in the top of the 9th to take a 10-7 lead. This is awesome :lolBIG:

Great comeback by the Tigers, lovely. Now time to enjoy the Red Sox game and get working on the 3rd wave of games.
