Big revenge game for Burnett. He was very bad against Detroit in his first start of the season but then he bounced back nicely with a very solid start against the Royals. Durbin started the season the same way he ended the last one. In his last 3 starts he allowed 17 earned runs in 9.2 innings of work. And he is getting no run support whatsoever. His team scored only 16 runs in his last 5 starts. As for Toronto, they scored 9 runs in each of Burnett's two starts this season. Toronto has one of the best bullpens in the league and Detroit has one of the worst, so it is no surprise that Toronto has a 0-2 record against Detroit starters (era of under 3) and a 2-0 record against Detroit bullpen (era of over 9) this season. And today, they will face the weakest Detroit starter, who has a 11.57 era this season and a 17-31 career record. Toronto -165 is my play here.
