Another winning day yesterday at 2-1, +3.67.

2* Marlins/Braves under 9 +110
2* Angels/Redsox under 9.5 -110

Not much to write-up on here. These plays both fall under the same "system" for me. I always bet unders or fade a team after a double digit runs scored blowout victory. In this case, it would mean fade the Marlins and Red Sox, but with Olsen and Schilling going for each team respectively, I'm going to lay off those particular bets, and bet the unders instead. Braves also appear to be heading into a funk.

This is something I do practically blind, everytime a blowout victory occurs. These bets will hit 60-70% over the season, and are winning bets in baseball on their own. As the season goes on, and I continue to feel my way into it, these bets will become automatic 3* plays, with the possibility of increasing if the capping matches/supports it - and decreasing if it doesn't.

Added plays in a bit.

1* Milwaukee Brewers +115

Continuation from yesterday fitting the fading a team off a road sweep, 1st game of a new series. However, Sheets and Reyes will not start, as Suppan and Wells will start instead. Not a fan of Suppan, but can always appreciate when a game means a lot to someone, going back to face the old team.

Thanks fellas.

2* Reds/Cubs under 7.5 -115

Probably the bet of the day, but held it back from 3* because it looks like this will be a huge card, as I have 3 more plays coming....and I don't like having this much at risk.

Expect another battle today in Chicago, but expect these teams to fix up, and not allow anymore blow up innings. Damage control should be in effect today, especially with 2 outstanding pitchers on the mound. Bronson Arroyo holds righties to a .220 average, and he'll face plenty today in the Cubs lineup. Arroyo has owned the Cubs over his career, and look for him to get revenge after they roughed him up earlier this year. Looking at the Reds scores this year....a bunch of tight, low scoring games 4-3, 6-5, 3-2, 4-2, 5-1, etc. They havent had the offensive explosion yet, and neither have the Cubs. Hitting is all about confidence, and neither team has it yet, and with these two pitchers, don't expect them to get it today.

Rich Hill, one of the better young pitchers in the game is a lefty with a big bender. That will limit the Reds runs today because left on left breaking balls are very tough for left handed hitters. Josh Hamilton, Ken Griffey Jr, and Adam Dunn are the heart and soul of this Reds lineup and are relied upon to drive in and produce runs. These three guys are left handed hitters that should struggle with Hill's big breaking ball today.

Cubs 3
Reds 2

1* New York Mets -1.5 -135

Think the books collected a little bit last night on the 1-run win, with a lot of bettors betting the -1.5 run line. You cant hold this Mets lineup down for long, and I think they got their scare last night vs. the Nationals. I like a veteran pitcher like El Duque in this spot vs. the struggling Nationals and Shawn Hill.

1* Detroit Tigers +155

AJ Burnett has been one of the most inconsistent pitchers in baseball the past few years. Injuries have been the main reason, but he can also walk a ton of people even when healthy. I'll never forget his no hitter in a Marlin uniform in which he walked 7 batters. Just a symbol of his inconsistency, ability to be dominant and terrible all at the same time. For a team that went to the World Series last year, boasts one of the best bullpens in baseball, and a scrappy lineup, I'll gladly take these Tigers at this price after they hammered Burnett 2 starts ago.

1* Whitesox/Indians over 10 Even

Love betting overs in Indians games, especially at Jacobs field, especially with Paul Byrd on the mound. Hate Paul Byrd and I dont think he can hold this White Sox lineup down. Too many hot hitters in this game from Thome to Sizemore. The tone was set last game for offense, and neither of these pitchers should be able to hold the opposing lineups down today.

Largest card of the young season, and you will never usually see me play a card this big. Just the way it worked out today. Pick and choose wisely.

2* Marlins/Braves under 9 +110
2* Angels/Redsox under 9.5 -110

2* Reds/Cubs under 7.5 -115
1* Milwaukee Brewers +115

Wow Boxy some seriously close calls but great job so far!

Yep, some definite close ones. But that's how baseball is. I dont guarantee non-sweat wins, just wins. LOL....But those 2 unders were under games all the way - Boston had a 2 run error by Matthews and a pointless 3-run homer late by Papi, still won by 2 runs. Cubbies put up 1 big inning to make us sweat out the other under, but both paces, both games were unders all the way

Only one I feel fortunate on was the Tigers - but that's why you take a good team like the Tigers +155. Scrappy and they know how to win.

We got a delay in Atlanta, and the Brewers pending.

But looking good thus far, and another guaranteed winning day! :drink:

I'll share some wisdom with you that I've also shared with my brother: never, ever use an exclamation point. Ever.

Queerbait.

Congrats on the day, though. You're on fire!

See how queer the exclamation made that? Much different than if I had just said, "You're on fire."

Just looking out for a fellow RR brother.

Seriously, though, keep tearing it up like I tear up my scrotum nightly.

I actually agree with this 1,000%.

But ssbowtie is a guy that Im not really familiar with yet. Spoken to him once, maybe twice. So it's kind of like seeing an old classmate:

"Hey! How are you?!" ...."Oh really!? Thats great!"

Hope you understand...

I wanted to bet the over in the Twins/Devil Rays game because Sidney Ponson is a fat slob...but I pussed out because my vagina is large and I had too much at risk.

Let me caluculate this befoire another drink enters the system:

4-2, +4.35

25-13, +22.12

Jah bless.

Think about this mind blowing fact. Actions are louder thann words. I submit my challenge to you. In my 8,000+ posts, I guarantee you will find less than 10 with exclamation points. Where's JoeFlex to research this when you need him?

Seriously, get JoeFlex on that joint...because there's no way in hell I'd conduct that search. Too fuckin lazy.

Flex it up. Flex offense. Run it.
