Anyone Ever Had $$$ Taken by BetCRIS ? Important !!

someone charged my debit card a few days ago , from a www-card site

i used to use www-card a few months back but not since.

someone puchased & then used the card as it is empty

i called www-card cust svc and find out the purchase came through
a betcris domain

i know someone could always spoof a domain but that doesnt sound right to me as they would have had to gain it through my computer & i run virus scans pretty regularly , have all anti-spyware shit and a firewall .... But the other side of the coin is , betcris are the one's who first informed me of this www-card , and i also have gave them my debit card
# on numerous occasions when calling customer svc/and the CC dept.

i called cust svc and they seemed a little flaky about the whole thing ...

anybody think some fraud bullshit could be going on from inside CRIS ??

this sucks cause now i have to cancel my debit card

Now im thinking it could also be wwwcard ...
the lady wouldnt give me the wwwcard # that was purchased from my debit card and the website took me to an old one from months ago

only problem I ever had with cris was a couple of years ago when someone hacked into my account and played at the online casino...got most of it credited, 'cause I had requested a casino block before that...didn't get it all credited though...

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard on the Rx about somebody hacking into their sports account and blowing alot of money @ the casino I'd be rich.

Not saying you're lying, just this scenerio has come up more times than I can imagine to be true.

Why would somebody take the time to hack into a casino account and play with basically fake money. Money they will never see. Doesn't make sense.

fucnluc: In many cases if they have account access, they can do a peer-to-peer to their own account, or a WU withdrawl to a random name etc..

And then there's the malicious damage that is the case in many examples of hacking.

My suggestion would be that you contact William about this, give him all the information he asks for and let him handle it.

Not sure if Betcris has poker, but if they do, that is why people do this.... DUmp and take before being caught.

For anyone who keeps decent size balances in sportsbooks, it is a very good idea to have poker disabled.

A friend who had $11 in an account had it hacked and spent at the casino. He told them about it, then later re-uped won some $, requested a withdraw. His acct. was frozen for letting someone else use his account.

I won't mention the book because they are solid and he did get the mess cleared up.
