I am looking for a place that fits the following criteria:

-Not an absolute smoke pit
-Full pay machines only (9/6 Jacks or Better and full pay dueces wild only)
-I plan on playing max coin in on $1 machines
-Decent comps
-Don't want anything to do with downtown

Any machine is a bad bet. What do you think keeps casinos in business! Find a table and play short, short sessions(5-15 minutes). Leave with a few bucks each time. Take 5 minutes to clear your head. Find a roulette wheel, play red or black. Each table has if it's streaking or chopping at the top board (the last 20 hits or so) wait for consistency (a pattern) remember you don't have to play every turn unless you're at the table alone. I won 24 consecutive sessions doing this at Atlantic City They were pissed

The Palms and Orleans are both known for solid VideoPoker. As far as the smoke goes, even with the lower ceilings I find the Palms air to be more tolerable. Check out the folks over at lasvegasadvisor (dot.com) - they have some real hard core VP players and will give you the best info.

I happen to feel 100 % opposite of your post ! There are a number of machines here in Vegas that return over 100 % back to the players who know how to play them correctly. However I know of no way to get a return exceeding 100 % playing Roulette over the long term. I am glad to see you have been having a good run but I would not expect your run of good luck to produce any positive returns over a lifetime of playing Roulette. However playing Optimum play machines correctly will over the long run give you a very nice positive return without even counting the bonuses and comps offered ! I would like to make note that 9/6 Jacks or better is not a 100 % payback game unless you want to add in the kickbacks offered. There are very few 100 % pay machines offered at strip Casino. However the Palms does have some although they are not located right on the strip. If you are looking for a smokeless Casino here in Vegas... Good Luck ! As for 9/6 Jacks or better, the Las Vegas Hilton offers plenty of them. I live here in Vegas and I will not play anything unless it is a 100 % + payback machine. The best place to go is off strip places and I love the Casino at Lake Las Vegas and believe Casino Monte Lago has cleaner air than most places in Vegas. Off strip places that offer 100 % payback machines are Fiesta, Sams Town, Stations at Boulder, Sunset, and of course the upscale Red Rock. Silverton also has some 9/6 Jack or Better. If anyone wants to learn how to play the optimum play machines 100 % correctly, you can go to www.wizardofodds.com and practice and learn for free. good Luck !:money8: :103631605 :toast:

You won't find $1 FPDW machines anywhere; the Las Vegas Hilton would be the best place for $1 9/6 JOB along with decent comps but at times you'll see a scumbag element that makes it resemble downtown. The Station and Fiesta casinos (including the upscale Red Rock) offer plenty of good machines but the comps are piss poor.

Here is a great link that shows the best VP machines at each casino:

http://members.cox.net/vpfree/LV.htm

It looks like the Wynn may be your best bet for VP on the strip. Stay away from any Harrah's property because they are a VP wasteland.

For off-strip properties - Palms, Coasts, and Stations/Fiesta (including Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock).

I understand why many people dislike downtown but Main Street Station is the best place by far IMO. I love playing their fullpay bartops because:

- they serve microbrews from their onsite brewpub
- not very smoky
- great bartenders (especially Jose)
- they give scratch cards for four-of-a-kinds (4OAK) ranging from $2-$5000. Most are $2-$5 but they add up after playing there a few days.
- Great comps: free rooms and meals for about $3K coin-in and the players club booth will write comps for the buffet if you ask them.

If you're bored one day give MSS a shot. Many people like this place even if they're not fans of the downtown properties.

My favorite Bartops are at Hooters. Palms will give some kick ass drinks at the bar while you play and pays are good. Gold Cost has some full pay machines. Ceasers used to be good till Harrahs screwed that place up

2 10-7 db at center bar, 1 at sportsbook bar
Thanks, I will check it out on Wednesday. I did a quick check just last Thursday and the sports bar ones that I checked were not any good. I figured they were all the same at the bar as usually if one is bad... they are all the same.
