Alright so I am now 10-3 on the year and have posted eight straight winners. I play anything from heavy favs to big dogs. I was on this pick last night but the game was postponed. The way I see, all we have here is a shittier line but an upgraded pitcher. Here we go, let's keep the money train rolling this week:
ATLANTA BRAVES ML -169
This is the play I was on yesterday night, but the game was postposed. This afternoon there is no excuse for these guys. They dropped the opener against these same Marlins and for such a good home team like Atlanta, that's not about to happen again. Make that two straight losses for them after starting the year so hot. We are getting a ton of value here because the Marlins are 2-0 this season when Scott Olsen starts and a lot of people are backing the Marlins to go 3-0 when he pitches. NOT SO FAST! Olsen has never had success pitching in this ballpark. His ERA here is 6.75 and his WHIP is 1.31. He has allowed two home runs in those games and tonight we are going to see quite a few more. I did a bit of math and the Braves loaded their lineup with guys who can smash lefties. I combined all eight starting hitters on this Braves team and they are batting a combined .291 lifetime versus left-handed pitchers. When Matt Diaz and Craig Wilson are your #7 and #8 guys in the lineup, you know you have things stacked up. Tim Hudson takes over for Kyle Davies which makes me a bit more confident. I say that because Hudson is one of the hottest pitchers in baseball and he has allowed only 2 ER's in 14 innings of work this season. He is 4-0 lifetime in seven career starts versus Florida with a 2.00 ERA and 1.11 WHIP while holding them to .222 batting. Making things worse for the Marlins is that they don't have a strong lineup today as their starting eight hitters have combined for a lifetime .266 average versus right handed pitchers. The Braves have not had many lefties to smash off on this season and the Marlins are batting only .271 on the road versus righties. It's time to breakout the Atlanta bats this afternoon. Also, the Braves have won five of the last six times Hudson has pitched at home and the last six times he has pitched against the Marlins. This is one team he really dominates. Hudson has always been a much better daytime pitcher and I actually see him coming to close to a you know what in this game. Olsen is only a good pitcher against shitty teams and he has not beat a team with a winning record in his last five starts. Like I said before, Atlanta has always been cash money at home and tonight should be no different. The lineup is super loaded with guys who can crush lefties and you'll see what im talking about here. GO BRAVES!
