Same old Royals, slumping royally... playing .250 ball .

All the early talk about the Royals turning the corner and getting closer to a .500 ballclub appear to be once again prematue.

At 3-9 the Royals have once again sank right to the bottom of baseball ith the games worst record.

60 wins looks about right, again.

The Royals have lost over 100 games 3 straight seasons and 4 of the last 5....I wonder what the record for consecutive100 lost seasons is?

With the competition in their division, getting under 100 wins looks to be tough once again.

Royals pitching to date has been very decent with 8 quality starts, just still can't find ways to wins ballgames.

I was at the Royals/O's game on Thurs in FRIGID temps. Meche had to constantly pitch out of jams. O's could have easily had 6-7 early but won 2-1 in 10 innings. Royals O looked pathetic and was shut down by Trachsel. Alex Gordon looked lost at the plate. Bullpen was an absolute MESS. They kept trotting out no namers and putting men on. O's at -113 were an ABSOLUTE gift-paid for my Vacation.
I also saw the Nats on the way down and their O looked even WORSE

they are a much improved ball club. Will not get routed nearly as often this year. How many more wins it translates into who knows? The American League is VERY strong up and down the league.

You will go to the poor house over time betting Trachsel as a favorite over Meche.
