Duncan was sitting on the bench and found himself trown out of the game against Dallas today for what can only be described as laughing. The ref (can't remember his name, he is bald as a que ball) thought Duncan was showing him up by laughing after a call against the Spurs.

I think it was Joe Crawford who kicked him out; this is a situation where the referee thinks he is part of the game. An absolute joke that he kicked him out for doing nothing.

Sad state that the NBA is in now. I remember 20 years ago when Bird and Laimbeer faught and neither got suspended, just tossed from the game.

I don't understand this one. I could see if it was a guy with a reputation, but Duncan seems to be one of the true professionals about the game.

NBA is doing fine. It was a bad call but happens in all sports.

It was pretty funny.Duncan was laughing like a kid and the Ref turned around like a teacher looking for the student that was cutting up.Then he sent Duncan to the principles ofice.I am glad I had Dallas or I would be angry. At least it was not a playoff game.

Duncan deserved that technical (his 2nd which is automatic ejection).

He was sarcastically laughing at Crawford's foul call earlier, then did it again later. He was just begging for it. I even said to someone that he'd get ejected the way he was showing up the ref.

agreed think its fine. But its time for Joe Crawford to retire. I have seen this guy he treat certain teams different. The bulls and spurs are the worst to get it. But really David Stern has to talk to the officating office and discuss that one.

better to laugh it off than punch someone in the face or cuss someone out.....NBA is gay anyway

Duncan is saying that Crawford asked him "Do you want to fight? Do you want to fight?"

Crazy stuff.

man i just read the article about duncan and crawford. Who do u believe the player or the ref. I have seen alot of Crawfords games and he does hold grudges and acts like he wants to be the man on the court. I really hope the league investigates and if crawford said that i would have to believe somebody saw or heard it.

I dont understand how you all are 100 percent sure duncan is telling the truth. The guy has always struck me as one of those nice nerdy guys who has something to say behind everyones back. I believe Crawford.

You throw out a rookie (maybe) for laughing, not arguably the greatest power forward of all-time with MVP trophies and championship rings

I have just been catching up on this story. I have a feeling this is going to be a story for a week. Cowherd is going to love this.

Finally saw the replay. After Duncan was ejected, it looked like he said "Fawk you" and "You're a piece of shit" to Crawford. Good stuff Timmy.

A good friend of mine is the time keeper for the Bucks. He says Crawford is the most arrogant ref in the league. He thinks he is above the game. Bitched my buddy out last year over nothing. Made him feel like a fool.
When he works a game everyone sits on pins and needles.
