26-18, +18.86
Shitty day yesterday. Too much time on the weekends to cap the whole card, and got out of my comfort zone this weekend playing too many games. Lets get back to winning baseball, and play 1-3 good ones.
4* Florida Marlins +102
I actually had the Marlins as a -135 to -145 favorite in this game. Florida is the #1 team in baseball at hitting lefties, and the #1 team at hitting on the road. Houston is baseball's worst team at hitting righties, and they will face one that has very good stuff in Anibal Sanchez.
Sanchez threw a no hitter last year, and dominated Houston in his only performance vs. them holding them to a .081 average against him. Thats just symbolic of Houstons offense, too. They can go ice cold at a moments notice and be very streaky offensively every year.
Major pitching mismatch here, IMO. Only reason this isnt a 5* is because Sanchez is a much better pitcher at home. But the point is, he is still better here, and the Marlins are doing a great job hitting the baseball right now.
Marlins also off a blowout loss, and I love playing teams after they get their butts kicked a little bit.
Look for the Fish to bounceback tonight in Houston. And if for some reason they don't, we don't have to worry about juice. Good odds, solid play.
Marlins 7
Houston 2
