(14-3)(+10.34 units) favorite bets
(9-10)(+0.20 units) underdog bets
(1-3)(-2.00 units) runline bets
(0-7)(-7.00 units) parlays

(24-23)(+1.54 units) overall

Won my favorite bet, but lost both big dogs. Of course I usually would have taken those two big favs in a parlay together, but after starting 0-7 on parlays, I switched things up and it costs me. Oh well, only lost a unit for the night, I can live with that.

I am working my night tonight and will not be home until after 8:30, so here is my entire card for Wednesday.

Phillies -139 vs Washington…………..For starters, going with my trend of going against Washington as often as I can, especially when you can get odds as low as these. I have been saying that the phillies have a tremendous amount of pressure on them playing in front of the home folks and I think on the road, their natural talent sort of takes over and they play better. This is an extremely important series for the phillies. They lose this and they are all alone in last place. I am a big phillies fan and I am really depressed over this start. I think it might be time for Charlie Manual to go. Is there such a thing as a must win this early? I will try the much better team (at least on paper) at some pretty decent odds.

Atlanta -102 vs Cubs………I know that Zambrano is pitching for the cubs, but that is all they have in their favor. I will take the under-rated braves at this price at home. Cubs manager Lou is finding out he is not in Yankee land anymore. I know I have no room to talk being a phillies fan, but cubs are a bunch of under achievers and find ways to lose games. They will find a way to lose in the late innings at Atlanta.

White Sox -122 vs Texas……….I have done very well taking these small favorites this year. I see a ton of value getting Buehrle at home only laying -122. Texas has a history of not playing all that great on the road as well and they are off to a 2-5 road start again this year. Buehrle does not have a win yet this year, but has not looked that bad. He picks up his fist win tonight.

SCREW IT! I am back to my parlays again. I cannot help it. I always see big favs that I like and I will not lay the juice and don’t like runlines all that much either, so the answer is put them together on a parlay. Here is today’s parlay.

Detroit vs Kansas City
Seattle vs Minnesota

Risking 1 to win 1.35 units

Kansas City, like Washington is a go against most of the time, especially at Detroit with Bonderman pitching and Seattle’s Fernandez has been unhittable so far this year. His average hits and walks given up per nine innings this year is an amazing 4.2. WOW!!

I am still on the plus side even though I feel like I am not doing a very good just picking winners. I know my record (24-23)(+1.54 units) is nothing to brag about right now, but winning is winning and losing is losing. I feel pretty good knowing that big winning streak is going to happen sooner or later.

Good Luck Everybody!!
