Just wanted to point out a really hot capper. It is almost comical. There is a capper in the New York Post named Hondo who makes 1 or 2 picks everyday. Historically he has been a definite go against throughout the year. If you follow his picks consistantly throughout the year you would end up in the plus. Anyway, this guy has started out like 13-2 and won tonight with Boston. He also doesn't always have favs. For example he had the Nats on Saturday.

How can he be a "go against" guy & yet "follow{ing}" him "you would
end up in the plus"?

Are you suggesting to "go against" him or "follow his picks"?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't care who you are, but if you're on a 14-2 run, I'm going to be on the other side long before I hop on that train so late.

He's GUARANTEED to eventually gravitate back towards the norm-even if you want to call that 65%(a very profitable figure-and also a damn high one over the long run).

If what I wrote is confusing to some, here is a elementry explanation to what I meant. The guy is 14-2 in bases. If you so opt, you could play his picks since he is hot. Play until he cools off. It is comical because he normally suks. Hope this helps people understand what I meant. 1+1=2:monsters-

I kid you not I was going to fade this guy from day 1 this year. We had our 1st child so I kind of took it easy w/ bases. Good thing or I would have been broke.

Dude, I would buy the Inquirer every week if they had a hot capper. Wouldn't you?

If you are an avid New York Times reader, then maybe you'll think the Post is a tabloid. If you could read, I suggest you pick up the Post and judege for yourself.

jesus christ.

baseball.

gonna win some = gonna lose some = but, I've yet to find the "God of Baseball Selections."

It's a hard fucking game to bet.

Posters will post their mental shit, but if you make your own picks, don't worry about them.

You ARE making your own picks, capping, right?

RIGHT?

Point is this = no one is going to rise to God in baseball, as long as there are BULLPENS and so-called CLOSERS.

That, my friends, is what KILLS you in this sport. Every time.

You got the best team, the best pitcher, the best set-up, but some bullpen ass comes in and, in the process of spitting seeds for three hours and pulling on his cup, he has lost some, uh, FOCUS. Gives up the hard work by the stud pitcher, and they lose by one.

THIS is what kills me about baseball. No way to factor it in = ever.

And that leads to posts like these = follow Hondo, follow the yellow brick road, follow thru, follow me boys, follow the leader. Whatever.

you better FOLLOW your own capping and picks. Or, find someone who has a validated W-L record that is consistent.

Time for bed, it's been a shitty night all around. Hope you guy's can iron out your differences. IF not, fuckit. Quick reply is at your fingertips at anytime.

Uncle Steve = (since no $$$, then ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ) losing night, but I'll be back for another go at it.

Are you a nut? Who is talking about, " God of Baseball"? I just pointed out that the guy is 14-2. I'm not blowing him. :bunnies: Many people who don't cap or are in a funk may think about following a hot capper. No one is holding a gun to anyone's head. Do whatever you want, who really cares?
